Letter: Involve parents

Taken from a letter written by a teacher. Simplistically but true, the teacher cites four principles that will help a student succeed in school.”

The teacher cited four principles. The four principles are: “…showing up for school, paying attention, doing the work and behaving.” “Ensuring children show up for school and do their homework are the only two of the four principles that a parent need be responsible for.” “ The other two are mainly the teacher’s responsibility. 

So according to the author, parents have two responsibilities of making sure their child shows up and do their homework.
