Students & Families Have Unique Stories to Tell. As Schools Plan to Reopen, They Should Work to Celebrate Them in the Classroom

During this time when students are “learning at home” is an environment conducive for families to talk about their background and share their stories. These stories build self confidence in students when they face school cultures that may not be aware of their personal stories.
